More About Brian

Brian Canning is our Chief Marketing, Product and Customer Experience Officer at Delta Vacations, a Delta Air Lines Company. In his role, Brian leads three teams that are central to rapidly growing Delta Vacations while ensuring the customer is always the priority in every decision we make.

Brian developed his marketing, loyalty, partnership, and customer engagement skillsets during his 12+ years at Delta Air Lines, which has proved to be a solid asset in his role at Delta Vacations. After joining the company in 2019, he has contributed to record-breaking growth marketing results, launched a new brand positioning of 'Go Beyond the Flight' and continues to elevate Delta Vacations as best-in-class vacation experience.

Brian initially joined Delta Vacations as Vice President of Marketing but has since added the Product Development team to his responsibilities and is tasked with building our new Customer Experience team with his promotion in July of 2022 to Chief Marketing, Product and Customer Experience Officer.

Before joining Delta Vacations, Brian was the General Manager of SkyMiles at Delta, where he led an unprecedented increase in customer satisfaction scores for the loyalty program. He also served in leadership roles on the American Express Credit Card and Partnership Marketing teams.

In addition to his current role, Brian also leads, volunteers and facilitates the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council at Delta Vacations with the goal of becoming a more diversive and inclusive organization both internally and for the communities we serve.

Brian has a Master’s degree from the University of Florida and Bachelor’s in Advertising and Business from University of Colorado at Boulder.

His favorite Delta Vacations trip is simply too hard to identify, so top three in no particular order are Iceland, Harbour Island Bahamas and Lake Como, Italy.
