Negril Activities

Fall in step with the rhythm of Jamaica by learning about the island’s traditions, language, cuisine, art and music. Negril’s main attraction is Seven Mile Beach, where surfing the waves or strolling along the shore are great ways to spend the day. Explore Long Bay Beach Park, a private area where you can avoid the crowds, to enjoy a picnic on the beach or a soothing rest in a hammock.

Climb 100 stairs to Negril Lighthouse, built in 1894, for a spectacular panoramic view of the area. You may be familiar with the world-famous Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios, but Negril has its own waterfall nearby — Mayfield Falls — that is also a great spot for hiking.

Take a break from the pool, and take the kids to Kool Runnings Adventure Park, where thrilling water slides and a wave pool will entertain kids of all ages. And, for the ultimate way to end a day, stop by Rick’s Cafe for delicious Caribbean fare, breathtaking views and spectacular sunsets.

Getting to Negril

Delta Vacations vacation packages include round-trip airfare aboard Delta to Sangster International Airport (MBJ). Round-trip transfers between the airport and your hotel are included with your vacation package. Negril is located 55 miles from Montego Bay. Transfer time to the Negril hotels is about a 60-minute ride from the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. Transfer time to Sandals Whitehouse on the south shore is about 90 minutes.
